Refund, Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to love your purchase from Slaylikerayboutique™. Because many of our items are personal-use accessories and beauty-adjacent, we offer store credit or exchange for change-of-mind returns, and provide repair, replacement, or refund where required by Ontario/Canadian law for defective or not-as-described goods.


1) Change-of-Mind Returns (Store Credit)

  • Eligibility window: Submit a return request within 7 calendar days of the delivery date shown by the carrier scan.
  • Condition: Item must be unused, unworn, and unaltered, in original packaging with all tags, cases, cards and protective films intact.
  • Authorisation required: Email info@slaylikeray.com to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number before sending anything back.
  • Refund method: Approved returns receive a store credit (gift card) for the merchandise subtotal paid. Original shipping, insurance, and fees are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping: Customer is responsible for tracked return shipping and remains responsible until the parcel is received and inspected.

Note: If you prefer a stricter window, contact us before ordering. We’re a small business and appreciate your understanding.


2) Final Sale & Hygiene-Sensitive Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following are final sale unless required by law: lashes, earrings/jewellery that passes through piercings, nipple covers/adhesive products, hats/headwear, hair accessories, discounted “Sale/Last Chance” items, gift cards, and any customised or made-to-order pieces.


3) Defective, Damaged, or Not-as-Described

If your item arrives defective, damaged, or materially not as described, email info@slaylikeray.com within 7 calendar days of delivery with:

  • Order number,
  • Photos/video of the item, packaging and shipping label, and
  • A brief description of the issue.

Once verified, we’ll provide a remedy consistent with Ontario/Canadian consumer law—typically repair, replacement, or refund (including reasonable return shipping where applicable). Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act (Ontario) and the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).


4) Order Edits, Cancellations & Address Issues

  • Before fulfilment: Request changes/cancellations ASAP at info@slaylikeray.com. If the order hasn’t been packed or shipped, we’ll do our best to assist.
  • Wrong/insufficient address: Please double-check at checkout. Parcels returned to us due to addressing issues can be re-shipped at the customer’s expense.

5) Shipping, Loss & Delivery Scans

  • Once a parcel shows “Delivered” by the carrier, risk passes to the customer at that address. If you suspect theft/misdelivery, contact the carrier and us within 3 business days so we can help investigate.
  • For “In Transit/Delayed” scans, we’ll assist with a trace. Carriers may require up to 7–10 business days to conclude an investigation before we can resolve.
  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

6) Return Process (Step-by-Step)

  1. Email info@slaylikeray.com within the applicable window to request an RA number.
  2. Pack the item securely with all original packaging. Include your order number and RA inside the box.
  3. Ship back using a tracked service to the address provided in our RA email. Retain the receipt and tracking.
  4. We’ll inspect within 3–5 business days of receipt and issue your store credit or remedy accordingly.

7) Condition & Inspection

Items showing wear, missing packaging, odours, make-up/tan/adhesive residue, scratches, or damage may be refused or be subject to a restocking adjustment at our discretion. For sunglasses, lenses and frames must be scratch-free with films intact; cases/cloths must be returned.


8) Exchanges

If you want an exchange, the fastest method is to return for store credit and place a new order for the desired item/colourway. Due to small-batch inventory, we cannot guarantee holds.
